How the NEET PG 2026 Rank Predictor Works
NEET PG 2026 has 180 questions worth 720 marks — replacing the old 200-question, 800-mark format. With 2.73 lakh candidates registered, the highest in NEET PG history, a 5-mark difference can shift rank by thousands of positions in the competitive zone.
This predictor uses historical marks vs rank data from 2022–2025, scaled to the 720-mark format. Because 2026 is a single-shift exam, ranking is on raw marks directly — no cross-shift normalisation. That makes prediction more reliable than in 2024 or 2025.

NEET PG Cut Off Percentile 2026
NBEMS sets a qualifying percentile cutoff. Expected cutoffs for NEET PG 2026:
- General / EWS — 50th percentile
- SC / ST / OBC — 40th percentile
- PwD — 45th percentile
With roughly 2.5 lakh candidates appearing, the 50th percentile qualifying cutoff corresponds to approximately 250–280 marks out of 720.
To convert a percentile to a rank: AIR ≈ (100 − percentile) × 2,50,000 / 100. At the 95th percentile that is an AIR of about 12,500; at the 99th percentile, about 2,500.
Specialty Cutoffs for NEET PG 2026

This predictor gives an estimated range, not an exact rank. Accuracy is highest in the top 5,000 ranks and lowest in the 10,000–50,000 band, where candidates cluster within a few marks. Use it as a planning tool, not a guarantee.
In NEET PG 2026, a 1-mark difference can shift rank by 500–3,000 positions in the competitive zone. A single number creates false precision. The range reflects the realistic band based on historical data.
2024 and 2025 were two-shift exams requiring percentile normalisation. 2026 is single-shift on August 30, ranking directly on raw marks out of 720. This makes the predictor more reliable, but it also means older data cannot map directly to 2026.
Based on 2024–2025 AIQ data, Radiodiagnosis in a government college closed at approximately AIR 2,900–3,100 in Round 1 for the General category — corresponding to around 575–590 out of 720. OBC closes at roughly AIR 5,500–6,000 for the same branch.
